The band was formed in 2024 alongside their weekly residency at Degrees Plato in Oakland, where they crafted their sound and developed a local audience. While the residency has come to an end, the Westones have since recorded their debut EP (to be released soon) at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, and have been featured as direct support for Diggin Dirt at the Mystic Theater in Petaluma and alongside Joe Marcinek and Robert Randolph at the legendary Boom Boom Room in San Francisco. Hot on the festival circuit, they've performed the main stage at Golden Road Gathering and will be seen at several others this summer including Same Same But Different and Joshua Tree Music Festival. FLORATURA Floratura invites listeners to float down stream and melt into an oasis of wonder and discovery. Seamlessly blending soaring jam-band vibes and bouncy neo-soul. Floratura's electrifying live shows combine uplifting narratives with intricate layers of grooves and textures. Drawing from a variety of influences, the California-bred band explores genres ranging from jazz-rock and funk to electronica, utilizing colorful harmonies, spicy, catchy melodies, and extensive improvisation. The psychedelic atmosphere creates an oasis for listening, dancing and feeling welcome. Floratura, have announced the release of their forthcoming debut studio album entitled 'Oasis Glow' and unveiled its first entree , "rdquo" -> Light" out now everywhere. Hot off the press this year, Floratura presents it's Official Live Performance short films from the Sound Quilts album, starting with the NPR Tiny Desk Submission , "rdquo" -> Making Room" featuring an original song from the upcoming album Oasis Glow. The subsequent releases feature renditions of Herbie Hancock's , "rdquo" -> Butterfly" and Earth Wind & Fire's , "rdquo" -> Can't Hide Love," marking a significant milestone for Floratura. In 2023 Floratura made their debut EP release, "Bucket of Seeds", the EP is now available for streaming everywhere.
